Orbsling is a fuel-free slingshot gauntlet through deep space: you are a glowing orb with one button and nothing but gravity. Hold to orbit a luminous point planet, read the aiming arc, and release at exactly the right instant to sling yourself toward the next one. Skim close enough and the capture counts as a near miss, stacking a combo multiplier that turns a clean chain into a huge score. Miss every gravity well and you drift into the void — no crash, no explosion, just a slow fade into the dark. It all plays out on a deep-space black field of twinkling parallax stars and softly pulsing planets with long motion-trail arcs, under a minimal white HUD.
How to play
Hold the mouse button (or touch, or Space / Enter / W / ↑) to orbit the planet you are captured by; release to sling off the tangent — there is no fuel and no thrust, only timing.
A dotted prediction arc previews your trajectory while you orbit: cyan reaches the next planet's gravity well, green means a near miss, red means the void.
Catching a planet's gravity well scores points (50 × combo per capture) and extends your chain; the further the chain, the smaller and further-spaced the planets get.
Bring your perigee inside the bright band around a planet for a NEAR MISS: the combo multiplier climbs and keeps climbing while you chain them, and resets on a plain capture.
Drift farther than any gravity well can reach — or take too long to reach one — and you are lost to the void; the run ends and your best score is kept.
