Lightning walks the valley, and you hold the only span that matters: the gap between the flash you see and the thunder you hear. Toll the gold-leaf temple bell inside that gap and the bolt un-happens in a burst of gold. Toll early, or toll at nothing, and the storm only deepens — while every bolt you fail to calm pushes the tide closer to 100. It all plays out in an ink-wash storm: layered sumi-e greys, rain-line texture and distant indigo mountains.
How to play
Press SPACE (or tap the screen) to toll the bell — once, cleanly, between a bolt's flash and its thunder.
A gold countdown ring shrinks at the strike point and the bottom bar reads "thunder in N s" — toll before it lands to cancel the bolt: +1 calmed, streak grows, the storm gauge drops.
The timing window shrinks every bolt — early strikes are easy, late runs demand millisecond nerve.
A toll at nothing resets your streak and darkens the storm (+9); a bolt that lands darkens it further (+15). At 100 the storm prevails and the run ends.
P (or Esc) pauses. Your best "bolts calmed" score is remembered between runs.
