Atari+ is a 9×9 Go capture race against the lacquer AI, played on a woven tatami mat inside a gold-ruled lacquered tray. You are the komo shells: polished white stones with a specular sheen, and every stone you lift off the kaya-wood board ticks the capture bar toward ten. Two one-use powers sit on the right-hand panel — a ko-break stone that ignores the ko ban, and a swap-stone that trades one of your stones with an adjacent AI stone. Take ten prisoners, or out-score the AI on territory when the board settles; either way you win.
How to play
Click an empty intersection to place a stone; the AI answers a moment later.
Capture an enemy group by filling all of its liberties — the captured stones lift off the board and your capture counter climbs. First to 10 prisoners wins.
Swap-stone (once): click the button, then one of your stones touching an AI stone, then that adjacent AI stone to trade their places.
Ko-break (once): when a ko exists, click the button and then the glowing ko point to drop a stone there despite the ko ban.
Pass (or the Pass button) surrenders the turn; two passes in a row settle the game on territory — stones plus fully surrounded empty points.
Suicide moves are refused and the ko recapture ban is enforced, unless you spend the ko-break on it.
P or Esc pauses; Enter or Space starts a new game from the title and the result card.
