Two players, one keyboard, one shrinking ring. Keyboard Duel is a local hot-seat fight rendered as a split CRT: a red-left / blue-right halftone arena under scanlines, with big bold round typography flashing K.O. and RING OUT. Move, body-block, and wind up a charge-lunge — knock your opponent off the edge to take the round, first to 2 wins the best-of-3 match. Every hit, parry and ring-out lands with sparks, screen shake and slow-mo.
How to play
Player 1 (red, left half): WASD to move, tap SPACE to block, hold and release SPACE to charge and fire a lunge.
Player 2 (blue, right half): arrow keys to move, tap ENTER to block, hold and release ENTER to charge and fire a lunge.
Blocking only stops a lunge that comes at your front — face your attacker or eat the hit.
A longer charge hits harder and knocks further, but you cannot block while charging.
First fighter forced off the ring loses the round; win 2 of 3 to take the match.
Each round runs 30 seconds: in the final 12 the ring shrinks, and at time-out the fighter farther from centre is claimed by the edge.
P pauses, M mutes the synth soundtrack. On touch devices each player gets a split pad: drag to move, tap to block, hold to lunge.
