Two players, one keyboard, one rope: a gym-class tug-of-war where raw mashing loses. Each side has two keys and only alternating them actually pulls, so a win is a rhythm you can hear — left, right, left, right — while the rope stretches, frays its fibers and the flag slides toward the line. Whichever team gets dragged into the mud patch at centre loses its grip and slips harder, and the coach on the scoreboard blows the whistle for the round card. Primary-colour cartoon bodies, sweat drops off the forehead, confetti and a fanfare for the winner.
How to play
RED (left team): tap S then D, alternating. BLU (right team): tap Left then Right, alternating.
Double-tap one key and you stumble: you lock up for half a second, kick up dust and hand the other side a free shove.
Keep the beat — presses within 0.4 s stack a ×1–×3 combo boost, but every press burns stamina (the two bars under the scoreboard) and stamina only trickles back, so a sprint fades.
Mind the mud at centre: the team whose feet are in it pulls at half grip and gets dragged harder.
Drag the flag across the opponent's line to take a round; first to 3 round wins takes the best-of-5 match.
Enter or Space starts the match and turns to the next round; P or Esc pauses. On phones each half gets its own two on-screen pads instead.
