Orbit Sort is an orrery puzzler of mass and motion: glass planets ride a scrolling cargo belt beneath a velvet-black sky, and it is up to you to hang each one on its engraved brass ring. The rings keep a strict order — heaviest nearest the star, where the orbit runs fastest — and a planet dropped on the wrong ring is flung clean off the mechanism. Built to teach gravity by feel: every arm you attach visibly orbits at its Kepler-scaled rate, and the gear-driven menus, Roman-numeral plaques and glinting graduations make the whole thing read like a museum clock that happens to bite. Complete the system before the chronometer winds down, then the next system rolls out heavier and faster.
How to play
Click or press Enter on the title card to wind the orrery and start the round.
Drag a planet out of the cargo belt with the mouse or a finger and drop it on a ring; a +100 snap and a golden burst confirm a correct seat.
Rank by mass (printed under each planet): heaviest goes to ring I beside the star, which orbits fastest; lightest goes to the outermost ring.
A wrong ring, an occupied ring, or drifting into the star flings the planet back to the belt — no fling frames in a perfect round.
Fill every ring before the seconds dial empties for a time bonus (10 per remaining second); the orrery then completes and spins as a whole. If time runs out the orrery stalls and the run ends with your score.
Press P or Esc to pause; Enter or click starts the next system after a completion.
