Math Ambush

The game

Pirate rafts are coming for your dock, and your only siege weapon is arithmetic. A comic word-balloon poses a quick-fire sum — answer it and the catapult loads; answer wrong and the arm jams under crossed planks and smoke for two punishing seconds. Then drag from the cup to arc a boulder into the approaching cutouts, splash and all. Waves scale your number sense, from small sums to subtraction and times tables, while the wind gauge bends every shot.

How to play

• Click, tap, or press Enter / Space on the title to set sail.
• Type the answer to the balloon's sum (digits 0-9, Backspace to fix) and press Enter — a correct answer loads the catapult with a big LOADED!.
• A wrong sum jams the siege for 2 seconds: no typing, no firing.
• While loaded, drag from the cup to aim — the dotted trajectory and power bar read the wind — then release to launch (Space / Enter fires with the current aim).
• Each raft hit scores 10 x wave plus streak bonuses; clearing a wave pays a bonus and the next wave brings more, faster rafts with harder math.
• A raft that reaches the dock burns one of your three planks; lose all three and the dock burns.
• Press P or Esc to pause.
