History has been pulled out of its folders and dumped on your desk. Each filing card shows a sepia photograph, a pictogram and an event title — but never its year. Drag the cards onto the ticker tape in chronological order, oldest first, and watch the rubber stamps land as the century reconstructs itself. File one out of order and the tape rewinds: your filed cards fly off, the pile shuffles, and a red misfiling blot is inked against your three allowances. Three archive volumes, three centuries, one very tidy clerk.
How to play
Drag a card from the desk tray up onto the tape and release it over the next empty numbered slot — the oldest event of the pile goes first.
Cards show the photograph, pictogram and title only; the year stays hidden, so date every event from memory before you commit.
A correct filing drops a green date stamp plus a red FILED mark, locks the card into the tape and scores 100 points plus 50 for each card in your streak.
A wrong one costs a misfiling (3 allowed), kills your streak, rewinds the tape and shuffles the pile back onto the desk.
File all 5 events to secure the century; clear the 1600s, 1800s and 1900s volumes to complete the archive. 3 misfilings shuts it down.
Mouse or touch drag; Enter or Space also opens the archive, advances volumes and can file the ready card; P or Esc pauses.
