Description

Lantern-spirit towers line a festival street as yokai parade toward the shrine; each yokai type requires the matching spirit (trickster fox needs mirror-lantern). Signature: chain lantern-spirit combos for the thunder-kami finale.

Indigo and vermillion ukiyo-e woodblock, wave motifs, paper lanterns, mist and moon discs.

How to play

Night falls on the festival street. Yokai march from the torii gate toward the shrine. Raise lantern-spirit towers along the street — but every yokai only fears its matching spirit: Mirror burns the kitsune fox, Flame boils the kappa, Wind scatters the yuki-onna, Bell breaks the oni. Wrong lanterns barely scratch them. Place different spirits side by side and their chains link — linked lanterns charge the Thunder-Kami. Fill the gauge and loose the storm with SPACE for the thunder finale.
